Kenya Health & Wellness Center

Health & Wellness Studio | Kapkemich Medical & Education Complex, Kenya

This project proposes a health and wellness center designed to support holistic care within a resource-conscious context. The facility integrates inpatient care, diagnostic services, and community health functions into a cohesive system shaped by climate, daylight, and cultural patterns of use. Passive design strategies—including shading, natural ventilation, and daylight optimization—drive the building’s form and organization, reducing reliance on mechanical systems. The project emphasizes adaptability and replicability, positioning architecture as an active contributor to physical, social, and environmental well-being.
