About
I am a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Kansas with a focused interest in healthcare, housing, and civic architecture. My work explores how the built environment can support physical and mental well-being through research driven design, environmental performance, and careful attention to everyday spatial experience.
Growing up in a family of medical professionals and now married to a nurse, I have developed a deep appreciation for how clinical environments shape workflow, staff well-being, and patient outcomes. This perspective has shaped my commitment to healthcare architecture and to designing environments that support both care teams and the communities they serve.
I am currently pursuing graduate certificates in Health and Wellness Design and Urban Design, which inform my approach across multiple scales, from detailed building systems coordination to broader urban and community contexts. My work aims to integrate operational efficiency, human-centered design, and long-term sustainability.
This portfolio presents selected academic projects developed across urban, cultural, and international contexts as part of the KU Master of Architecture program.
